Remembering and Healing on September 11.

As we remember today fill your heart with love, spread loving kindness wherever you go.

Remember with love in your heart, but don't spend time watching those awful videos again and again. We all remember what happened, we do not need to traumatize ourselves again and again to honor the living or the dead.

Instead, spend your time today doing something to heal our planet. Look into your own heart and find the places that are hardened by anger, hatred and fear, and soften them with love. Reach out with tenderness to yourself and others. Sing and chant for peace in whatever tradition you follow. Do a Fire Ceremony to release all that is not serving you and replace it with radical acceptance and love.

Imagine.

Today is a wonderful day to begin a Metta Meditation practice.

Start by offering this energy to yourself, and then begin extending it to others:

May I be happy. May I be well. May I be safe. May I be peaceful and at ease.
May you be happy. May you be well. May you be safe. May you be peaceful and at ease.
May All Beings Be Happy,May All Beings Be Free from Suffering.

Om shanti, peace to you all.

We will share our creations and experiences, and then use our mandalas in seated meditation. Space is limited so reserve your spot today! September 18, 2012: AM and PM sessions.
